Nikka Costa played Webster Hall in the East Village in Manhattan, New York. 

This was sent into us by our future London contact, who made a stop in NY on her way. 

John Black opened up the show as the opening act.  Pictures and Sound played as well.

The NY crowd was kind of silent for John Black but he handled it cool.  He said “Just Like L.A….nothin!”  A fan from L.A. was there and supports him in that statement.

The crowd for Nikka, however, was better than L.A..  Nikka had more crowd interaction.  Just the vibe was better.  It took a moment for them to warm up but afterwards, the crowd followed her to the point of fun. 

During the encore, she high-fived everyone in the front row.  Earlier, she got down n funky with John Black during one of his solos.  We are told it is one of the hottest  4 minutes of Nikka they have ever seen.  Video soon to follow?  We are told to cross our fingers.
