So, last Friday, it was reported by various media outlets that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were engaged to be married. Some people wondered if we were late to the party as we did not report it. Why didn't we?
Well, we never had it confirmed that the engagement took place. Still haven't. During the holidays, several fake stories come out. This person is divorcing that person, this person hooked up with that person, even fake death reports. The reason being is that during the holidays, things are slow. So sometimes we hear something and so desperate for a story, we go with it and want to believe it. It seems this may have happened.
Now, we told you months ago that Tom was going to be married before the other QB Tony Romo, IF it was to happen by the end of the year. We said all bets were off after Romo's season was over. Still standing by that.
So right now, no engagement confirmed. What we can confirm is that Tom's injury, which became infected and he had to go under the knife again, is not healing properly. So what looked like he could come back by late October/November, is now looking like Tom will be out for the 2009 season.
Tom had the surgery in L.A. at a clinic that usually handles basketball injuries to legs. Several athletes who have had knee surgeries or leg injuries have not come back by the timetable they were told. The Patriots are still angry at Tom for not listening to them and having the surgery with the team doctors. So far, the Patriots are right and have every right to be upset, engagement or not.-Dr.FB
Congrats to the Detroit Lions for doing the reverse of the New England Patriots by going 0-16.
The pursuit of perfection is intact. The Packers beat the Lions 31-21 to give them the 0-16 record. Look on the bright side; no way it happens 2 years in a row, right? Um, right?-Dr.FB
To add injury to insult, after the Cowboys got whupped by 38 points knowing they have to win to get into the playoffs, the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys collapsed in the shower.
There were several reporters around so it cannot be denied. Medical staff was summoned, a stretcher was requested, but Romo fought it off and faced reporters after for a press conference. He tried to joke it off but this time was unconvincing.
Right now it is being reported he suffered a rib injury, possible broke a rib, during the game. As a fan of the Cowboys, I am upset with Romo and the Cowboys, as a human being, I hope Romo is alright and I will leave it at that.-Dr.FB

Comic Book fan boys might be shaking in their boots regarding the upcoming movie The Watchmen.
A judge sided with Fox studios that they do indeed own a copyright interest in the movie Warner Bros. is releasing in 2009..or at least is slated to be released in 2009. Not only do they have an interest in it, they have a right to actually distribute it. In the 80's Fox picked up the rights to the film but dropped trying to make it.
Other movie studios such as Paramount & Universal were approached but none picked up on it til Warner Bros. did a few years back.
Now, Warner Bros. will have to either let the case go to court in late January OR be prepared to negotiate.
Warner Bros. would be making a huge mistake by letting this go to court. The longer this goes on, the more money they are gonna be handing over to Fox. Straight up stupidity for not checking on this before even shooting the movie. They could have bought the rights from Fox for anywhere between 5-10 million and now is anywhere between 10-50 million.
DC comics was purchased by Time Warner in the 90's, which a huge reason why all DC comics are made and distributed by Warner Bros. The music, television and movie groups all ran under different umbrellas are Warner Bros. could have been the biggest company around. Now, the music division is in turmoil. Gone is the huge television hit of "Friends". Through it all, the movie side was holding up.
I do feel for the WB in this but seriously, the rights should have been bought before the movie. They should have looked into it. Horrible move as Warner Bros. had no watchmen watching.-Dr.FB
When I said anyone who is someone would be at the Lakers-Celtics game today, you knew I was telling the truth. What a game. What a list of celebrities.
Mark Wahlberg, Kevin James, Adam Sandler, NBA Legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shwayze member Cisco Adler with father Lou Adler, Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Cannon, Dustin Hoffman, George Lopez, Michael Clarke Duncan & wife, The Music Icon Prince with Bria Valente, Denzel Washington, and Rap Legend Snoop Dogg.
If you were not lucky to get the hook-up for courtside seats, they were going for $10 grand a seat. 10 grand!
As for the game, the Lakers won and I am happy but remember, trophies are not handed out in December.-Dr.FB
Eartha Kitt passed away today at the age of 81. She passed away due to colon cancer. Eartha was an actress and singer and will be remembered by most for her portrayal as Catwoman on the 1960's hit TV Batman series.
She will be missed n I am sure she is with James Brown who passed away 2 years ago on this day.-Dr.FB
