Jennifer Hudson rocked.

Bruce Springsteen did not.  (Think I may be more traumatized over his crotch slide into the camera than Janet’s breast slip.)

Another great 4th quarter of a game like last year.

Commercials really did not blow me away.  Just a few were good.

    FYI ALL super bowl performances of the star spangled banner at the super bowl are recorded two days before the super bowl. Billy Joels performance and even Whitney Houston’s performance.

    So yes, it still rocked because the girl can sing.

    I didn’t see Jennifer Hudson’s performance but just read that she lip-synched the National Anthem (http://omg.yahoo.com/news/why-jennifer-hudson-lip-synched-at-super-bowl/18352). Do you still think it rocked?

    I thought Bruce rocked it! Nobody will agree because this site is full of Prince fans…but really, I thought Bruce was fun and full of energy. All the performances were great and all in all I thought it was all done very tastefully…except for Bruce’s pole dance but ehhhh cut him some slack 😉

    Jennifer Hudson was incredible with the Star Spangled Banner. After all she’s been through the last few months, she came out in a triumphant manner and I was so proud of her. I’m an even bigger fan of hers now than before. The game was great, especially the 4th qtr. I didn’t root for anyone in particular but the Steelers deserved the win. It was a fight to the end. Bruce Springsteen was great but it wasn’t the best halftime show I’ve seen. I liked his energy but I felt there was something missing. The best halftime show still belongs to Prince but Bruce is up there. Definately better than The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney. The ads were cool. Very subdued but good. I noticed the absense of the “Big 3” car companies but we all know why that happened. It was a good night for football last night and I enjoyed it.
