Lindsay Lohan will appear on Ellen today and she opens up about her relationship with Samantha Ronson.  As luck would have it, we were there.

Ellen talked earlier in the show before Lindsay came out about how she really needs some help right now and these are troubling times for her and glad she is coming on.

Lindsay came out looking thin and tired.  Out the gate, Ellen asked her questions about Samantha and she replied candidly.  Ellen said break-ups are hard and Lindsay went on to say they are harder when you are not expecting them.

Ellen: “I think that break-ups are hard when you’re a private person”

Lindsay: “Or when you don’t know you’re breaking up… really weird”

E: “Did you not know you were breaking up?”

L: “I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn’t seen her in like, a week. She like, disappeared”

Ellen asked if she missed her and she said she misses her very much and she is a friend.  They are still friends.  Lindsay just said it straight out: “I Love her”.  Even the restraining order came up and she was in total shock over it.  There were times when Lindsay did look like she was close to tears but sucked it up.

She said she thinks she is doing surprisingly well handling the break-up. Hmm.  Ellen did talk about her own personal experience and break-up and really extended herself emotionally to Lindsay to where she reached over to hug Ellen.

Lindsay talked about her career, about a movie coming out in September (straight to TV Lindsay) but she also made a point that she does need to grow up and take responsibility and talked about being the number one target of the media.  Ellen said maybe going to the club every night is not the answer.

I don’t know what happened but everything fell into place and everything is really moving and going on and it feels really good,” she said. “I didn’t get into this business to be a celebrity on the cover of tabloids and I’ve been a target and I’m not that interesting. It distracts people — studio heads, everyone, and they get nervous. I’ve been through a lot. I was 19-years-old when things happened and I’m ready to work. I’m responsible and I can be on time and I learn from my mistakes.”

We are not sure how many chances she will get.  She did say because of all this, things are on hold will a well-known actor to do a project.  Mel Gibson perhaps.  If Lindsay is given another chance, will she really change?  Has she learned?-Dr.FB
