07 Jul The Cops Come Knocking On “Three’s Company” Star Door

“Three’s Company” star Joyce DeWitt aka Janet Wood on the show, got busted on July 4th for drunk driving. We hear it was shortly after she left Chrissy at the Regal Beagle and was heading off to meet Jack & Larry at Jack’s Bistro.
Mr. Furley overheard Janet talking about the rendevous and was following Janet. Janet saw Mr. Furley’s ascott blowing in her rear-view behind her and pressed on the gas. Unfortunately, she drove by the Roper checkpoint in El Segundo where it was obvious that she was drinking and that’s where the hijinks’s ensued.
While Janet was getting booked, Larry & Jack showed up with Terri looking disheveled and Larry just barely tucking in his shirt. Janet was upset at the two wild men but tried to play off nothing happened right before Mr. Furley was about to shout that Jack Tripper is Gay, Jack yelled “Guilty” instead and Janet’s photo was taken, as you see above.
Janet/Joyce DeWitt we hear has since been released and is looking for a new male roommate.-Dr.FB
