Melanie Griffith has just checked into rehab for the 3rd time. This I believe is her first stint since the year 2000.

Melanie’s rep had this to say: “She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy. This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago.”

She is staying at the Cirque Lodge in Utah. This was quite a surprise because we heard nothing of a problem, so maybe it really is a plan to keep her sober. If that is the case, good for you Melanie. If not, I hope it is just the sauce and nothing else.-Dr.FB

The arena of dependency counseling has struggled with how to interpret and treat dependence for decades. For some, addiction is better realized as a disease that can react to the standard handling of detox, group work and self-help programs, AA in particular, that concentrate chiefly on addictive conduct. For others, addiction is a behaviour driven by rudimentary struggles and subjects that demand to be addressed in a treatment process designed for every individual, one that references his/her specific basic psychological dynamics.

I love all of u up in here, but speaking about what u do not KNOW is irresponsible.

    “just the sauce”.

As a recovering addict with over 20 years clean, i can tell u that addiction 2 alcohol kills more ppl EVERY year than addictions 2 coke or horse, the only difference is some can do it a lot faster.

Alcohol is so dangerous that even detoxing from it can cause death.

The difference is we have all grown up with alcohol as a part of our society 4 thousands of years, but don’t let that fool u, alcohol is a drug, & it is 1 of the most dangerous 1s out there, especially if u r an an addict!!!

@ the end of the day, there really is no such thing as addictive drugs; addictive ppl??? Absolutely.

There r those who can try cocaine 1ce & never go back 2 it, & the same goes 4 meth & all other drugs, but if the individual experimenting with said substances is an addictive individual, may the 4ce b with u!!!

Somebody needs to organize an intervention to get her some treatment for those wacky-ass sunglasses.

“This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago.” Those PR people get more and more creative, don’t they? Get better Melanie!
