20 Dec Brittany Murphy, Star Of “Clueless”, Dies At Age Of 32

Brittany Murphy, the star of such movies as “Clueless” and “8 Mile” has died at the age of 32.

TMZ reports that Brittany went into cardiac arrest earlier this morning at the house of her husband Simon Monjack and could not be revived.

The two were having marital problems as of late.  She was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival.)

I don’t want to speculate what caused a 32 year old woman to go into cardiac arrest, but Brittany had battles with her own demons, and that will be revealed shortly enough.

It’s safe to say right now, Hollywood is stunned, but not surprised.-Dr.FB

Ashton Kutcher just released a statement via his Twitter account:

2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.

Update: TMZ is reporting her mother found her unconscious in the shower and when paramedics arrived, they determined she was in full cardiac arrest.

The L.A. Coroner office will be picking up her body later today and doing a full investigation on what caused her death.
