11 Jan Simon Cowell Leaving American Idol; Will Work With Paula Abdul Again?
American Idol will soon be missing the sneers and jibes from its most famous judge…
At the Television Critics Association gathering today in Pasadena, CA, Simon Cowell announced that this next season of American Idol will be his last.
He’ll be moving on to become a judge and executive producer on FOX’s upcoming American version of “The X Factor”, the British talent show that launched the career of Leona Lewis.
We’re also hearing rumors that Cowell is bringing Paula Abdul with him to the new show. The two lovebirds together again! I can hardly wait.
I wonder how Ellen Degeneres is feeling about this? She’ll be joining a soon-to-be-sinking ship at American Idol. Without Simon Cowell, will Idol have the same punch? What do you guys think? – Dr.FB
