Exclusive! Interview With Green River Ordinance

This week we got a chance to talk with up and coming rockers, Green River Ordinance, also known as “GRO”. You’ve probably heard their hit single “Come On” (check out the video below) and already, the band is burning up the road with 324 dates in 2009 alone and a debut album, “Out of My Hands”.

We talked with the GRO drummer, Denton Hunker (how great is that name??), who shared with us what it’s like to finally be “making it” in the music biz, what life is like on the road, how they work hard but manage to goof off too, and their experiences touring with top acts like Bon Jovi, Collective Soul and American Idol winner David Cook.

Green River Ordinance will be touring this month with their buddies, Sleeperstar:

Feb 10: Jammin’ Java | Vienna, VA
Feb 11: The Note | West Chester, PA
Feb 13: Harpers Ferry | Allston, MA
Feb 16: Mercury Lounge | New York, NY
Feb 17: Club Café Live | Pittsburgh, PA
Feb 18: Musica | Akron, OH
Feb 19: Radio Radio | Indianapolis, IN
Feb 20: The Basement | Columbus, OH

The interview is in 2 parts, apologies for the audio (that’s what happens when a rocker calls into an interview on his cell phone!). We also added a couple of GRO songs to the DrFunkberry radio on the sidebar. Enjoy! -Dr.FB

P.S. – Got more questions for the band? They’re hosting a live chat this Wed (2/3) at 6pm EST.
