12 Apr Conan O’Brien Talk Show Coming To TBS
Coco has landed! TBS announced today that his new talk show will premiere in November. The program will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11pm Eastern, shifting TBS’ “Lopez Tonight” to midnight. Wait, did Conan just pull a Leno on George? 😉
Conan took to Twitter to announce his news: “The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I’ll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show.”
The deal came together quickly; talks began with TBS just last week. In a humorous statement, Conan said “In three months, I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly.”
This announcement comes right on the heels of another big milestone for Conan – the kick off of his national comedy tour.
So, TBS… Seems like a good fit, they do tag themselves with “very funny” and Conan is that. What do you guys think? -Dr.FB
