12 Apr Dixie Carter Passes Away Due To Complications Of Cancer

Dixie Carter of “Designing Women” Television fame, passed away over the weekend. At first, the cause of death was not known but it is now being released it is due to complications of cancer.
Hal Holbrook, her husband of 25+ years, was there at a Houston hospital when she passed away.
Holbrook released this statement: “This has been a terrible blow to our family,” Holbrook said in a written statement. “We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy.”
Along with playing Julia Sugerbaker on “Women” Carter had a slew of roles including the wife of Mr. Drummond on “Diff’rent Strokes” and many other acting roles since the 1970’s.
She will be missed and we wish her family and friends our condolensces.-Dr.FB
