31 May The Hangover 2 Sets Box Office Record
It seems I may have been the only one who did not see “The Hangover 2” this weekend as it set a comedy box office record bringing in $105 million being made. It now makes it the highest grossing opening for a comedy film ever.
The box office took in $280 million and “The Hangover 2” since it’s Thursday opening, has made $134 million.
Kung-Fu Panda 2, which opened this weekend as well, took in $66 million. 3rd place was Pirates 4 with 50 million.
I cannot remember the last time a 3rd place movie took in $50 million dollars.
