Prince To Perform “Surprise” Club Show Tonight In Amsterdam

Prince and The N.P.G. performed at the Melkweg In Amsterdam last night.  At the end of the show, Prince said “See you tomorrow night” and he wasn’t kidding.  Prince is performing another show at the venue tonight.

Shelby J. opened the show last night with a rousing set and then Prince along with Andy Allo and the N.P.G. brought down the place. We HOPE Prince plays  funky version of “Controversy”  tonight that we would LOVE to share here.  Ahem.

So, Amsterdam, if you are having a “Manic Monday” and need to let loose, you all know where to go tonight.  Have fun and don’t forget to tell a girlfriend.-Dr.FB

Ehm, they didn’t perform Controversy. It was a funky three hours though, with a nice tribute to Amy with Love Is A Losing Game.
And again he dissed U2: “I love U 2. But not the band.” What’s up with that? Does he really dislike them or does he think it’s a funny play on words?
