Charice is back!  After her successful debut album, getting recognition from Oprah, and being a part-time Glee cast member, Charice is ready to take it to the next level with “One Day” her latest single and video.

My only gripe…and yes I have one….is the ad at the very end of the video, making it seem like this entire video is a commercial for contact lenses.  So.  Not.  Digging.  That.  I mean the product placement by Interscope of Beats By Dre headphones was funny and brilliant marketing.  This one?  Not so much.

So, check out the latest video from Charice…and see if you cringe at the advertising in the end, like I did.-Dr.FB

    It’s great to see a talented Filipina artist getting major recognition. As for the commercial tag at the end, it’s a bit cheezy but if it’s part of a campaign, I’m cool with that. Hopefully, Acuvue helped pay for the music video with some $$$.

    LOL. This song is intended for Acuvue’s 1Day campaign to begin with so the “commercial” feel is quite understandable. But still, I love it so much! ♥
