Tony Bennett Says Bush Told Him Iraq War Was A Mistake; Talks 9/11

Tony Bennett was on Howard Stern and says that when Bush was President, he told him the war with Iraq was a mistake.

He also talks about 9/11 and how we caused it because we were bombing them. Howard first thought he was thinking that he was a conspiracy theorist.

Tony Bennett has always came off as being of sound mind so I do not think he made up the George W. Bush comments.  His comments on 9/11 however….

Check out the clip above and let me know what you think.-DocFB

America was safer without Saddam Hussein? Talk about playing GOD. Any country is safer if you protect your own, not invading other countries to keep your country safe. Well, Bush, there’s one thing all of us are not save from: Death. Everybody dies and that day will come when Bush will get the call from the MAN upstairs and this time no secret service to protect you, no airforce one to protect you, NO CIA, U.S. armed forces, no daddy and mama to protect you, no friends, just you. When you arrive, someone is waiting to welcome you and you may be told to follow a path and when you arrive don’t be surprised if you see grim faces of Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin, Mussoloni, Stalin, etc. Bush, you may be instructed that the MAN upstairs decides how long you will be sitting there. But be warned, this is a pure HELL with fire all over burning for the next infinite years (laughs).

President Ronald Reagan funded and armed Mujahideen in Afghanistan.

Mujahideen later transformed into Al quida

Al quida attacked us on 9/11

    But WHY??
Was it to “trick” us into an extremely costly and never ending war that would destroy our economy?
Was it to retaliate against the presence of foreign troops in their country? (15 out of the 19? who attacked us where from Saudi Arabia)
Was it to attack our way of living? (The open, free and democratic society)?
or was it just a meaningless terrorist attack?

Regardless it just does not make any sense why people attack civilians. (or anyone else for that matter) for whatever reason but it would be good if we at least knew why it happened, since it has been 10 years and to fight it you need to know why it happened.

    Well, Iraq WAS a misstake.
It was a deliberate mistake where the Bush administration ordered fake “intelligence” reports in order to get the Congress to vote to go to war with Iraq.

It is a mistake that together with Afghanistan has so far cost the american tax-payers $4 TRILLION in added debt for these two wars alone.

And they say we are broke, and that we have no money for nation building in the US…

I rarely believe political statements made by performers, especially “successful” ones. They get paid to act because they’re good at it. Paid. To act. Because they’re good at it. Selah.
