A Halloween Treat! A House That Party Rocks Like LMFAO

Although I think this is kind of cool, the neighbors would be pissed if the house was playing "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO all the time.

Although people are arguing on Youtube, this house doesn't exactly really exist...or else someone is mixing quite a lot of songs with the images of the house and recording it over and over.

Regardless, we think it is kind of cool.  We wish there was a "Party Rock" house like this around where we live.

Check it out above.-DocFB

R.E.M. Debut 2 New Videos For New Song From Greatest Hits

R.E.M. has just released 2 videos for "We All Go Back To Where We Belong" starring Kirsten Dunst and John Giorno.

I am kinda tripping on the videos and am underwhelmed.  Here is Michsel Stipe and others attempting to explain the videos and why they chose to film it the way they did.

R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe and co-director Dominic DeJoseph (who has directed previous films for R.E.M.) recruited actress Kirsten Dunst to star in one of the videos for "We All Go Back To Where We Belong." Dunst is a Golden Globe-nominated performer who has starred in such movies as Sophia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Marie Antoinette, and the Spider-Man trilogy. She recently received the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress for her role in the current film Melancholia, directed by Lars von Trier.

The other film stars iconic and legendary Dial-A-Poem artist/poet/activist John Giorno. Over the course of his notable career, Giorno has collaborated on several acclaimed projects with such luminaries as William S. Burroughs, Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson, Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol and Glenn Branca. His work includes several books and multimedia poetry experiments and events. A career-spanning collection of his poems, entitled Subduing Demons in America: Selected Poems 1962-2007 was published in 2008. His first one-person gallery show, entitled Black Paintings and Drawings, was mounted at the Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York in 2010.

Both black and white films for "We All Go Back To Where We Belong" capture their subjects in stark relief using a strong key light and shot with a stationary camera, an effect that Stipe describes as lending "gravity and beauty" to the proceedings.

These videos arrive on the heels of last years' successful Collapse Into Now Film Project, which featured films by artists for every song on the album. Stipe said of the new  project, "To be able to work with John and Kirsten was a dream I carried since we recorded the song, and their participation completes the song for me."

These are the "last" videos we will see from R.E.M. for a while.  Should it have been different?-DocFB

Beyonce Releases New Video For “Party” Featuring J. Cole

Here is "Party" the latest video by Beyonce and J. Cole. We are not sure if she has lifted anyone else's video yet however.

The make up and lipstick we can confirm was used by the girls in the 80's video "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham!

I do like the line bout "Friday" and thanking Ice Cube for it. It has a cool beat that I may bob my head at a party but not sure I would be rolling round bumping it.

Check it out and let me know what you think.-DocFB

Rihanna Releases Behind The Scenes Footage Of New Video

Rihanna released behind the scenes footage of "We Found Love" her latest video.

Don't ask us why part 2 is available but part one is not.  Rihanna is trying to make sure she has the title of the hardest working woman in the business.  Releasing videos, touring to sold out crowds, recording new material and finding time to have a boyfriend here and there.

Hate to say it but was it on purpose that the lead guy was light-skinned and had blonde died hair?  Guess Chris Brown was not available to do the video.  He did not have blonde hair when they were together.  Just an observation.

Check out the behind the scenes footage of "We Found Love" by Rihanna.-DocFB

T.I. Clowns Chelsea Handler For Hooking Up With 50 Cent

Chelsea Handler, host of Chelsea Lately, had her crush T.I. on her show and it got quite interesting.

Chelsea has flirted with T.I. in the past and she started complimenting him on his teeth and seemed a little jealous of his marriage.

T.I. was on the show promoting "Power & Beauty" his latest book he wrote while he was in prison.

T.I. seemed to laugh off Chelsea insinuations of gay sex in prison and getting a handy j from his wife.

They even touched on him saving P. Diddy from a fight and talking a man off a ledge.

Then.....T.I. went there.  Chelsea was calling herself Chelsea Lately instead of her real name Chelsea handler.  T.I. corrected her and Chelsea asked what is my last name.  T.I. quickly said I thought it was Cent.  Chelsea Cent.

The talk show host has had to have a short hook up with 50 cent and T.I. called her on it.  Chelsea said that 50 took lately as his last name instead.  Yowza.

Chelsea does get a little angry when she says "Nice try A-Hole" before ending the interview.-DocFB

End The Lockout! NBA Owner Marc Cuban Covers “Purple Rain”

OK, we need to end the NBA lockout...NOW! Marc Cuban covering "Purple Rain" by Prince is making us beg for the owners and players to reach an agreement.

The owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and hopefully future owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers Marc Cuban hit a local bar last night and instead of us giving us a mouthful of purple badness....and I mean badness in the bad sense.

At 2:17 he makes me shake my head.  At 2:34 his friend hits notes that made dogs cover their ears in a 50 mile radius.

Kobe.  Kevin.  Mr. Stern.  Mr. Cuban.  Please end the lockout now.  My ears cannot take anymore.  Please.  I rather hear Prince gloating over a Kevin Garnett dunk over Kobe Bryant then hear any other NBA player or owner cover him.

Having to hear Marc Cuban say "Come on, get nast!?"  is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Don't get me wrong Marc.  I still want you to buy the Dodgers, but please, put the microphone down.-DocFB

Coroner’s Report: Amy Winehouse Death Ruled By Alcohol

Amy Winehouse. Photo: PacificCoastNewsOnline.com
3 months after her passing, Amy Winehouse's death was announced. It appears she drank herself to death.

Amy's blood alcohol level was 4 times the legal limit, according to the coroner's report.  The labeled it as "Death by misadventure" and drugs did not play a part.

Winehouse's family has already released a statement:

"It is some relief to finally find out what happened to Amy.  We understand there was alcohol in her system when she passed away, it is likely a build up of alcohol in her system over a number of days."

"The court heard that Amy was battling hard to conquer her problems with alcohol and it is a source of great pain to us that she could not win in time. She had started drinking again that week after a period of abstinence."

"It underlines how important our work with the Amy Winehouse Foundation is to us, to help as many young people and children as we can in her name."

"It means a lot to us and from the overwhelming messages of support we have had since Amy died, we know she meant a great deal to people all over the world.  We want to thank everyone for that and for their continuing enthusiasm for the Foundation."

In some weird way, I do not feel closure in knowing how Amy died.  I am not sure Amy's family does as well.  The thing is, we lost a talent whose death may have been avoided.

When Amy passed, this song was playing in my head and I want to share it with you now.

Review: Simon Puts Through Rachel, Drew & Melanie

Simone Battle kicked it off for Simon's girls on X Factor and she did not fair well.

Battle passing instead of Jazzlyn Little at the judge's house was surprising to me. Battle's performance again proved to me that Simon was dead wrong about Simone. Battle lost the war and Simon deserved Reid's comments for contestant choice big time. Simon said that Reid was out of touch. As much as I usually agree with Simon, he was wrong and I know he will be eliminating Battle.

Rachel Crowe, the 13-year-old 9th grader was going to bring it. No doubt. It helped following a lackluster performance from Battle. She mixed in a soul classic along with "Baby" by Justin Bieber. This is the 2nd time a Bieber song has been used on X Factor. Drew covered it in auditions.

Perhaps Simon thinks American's cannot remember what they had for lunch let alone using a song twice within a month. This American is not that stupid, Simon. Nicole and Paula critiqued the song choice and Simon got testy. Regardless, Crowe stunned and is going through.

Next was the artist formerly known as Drew Ryniewiz. Now just simply called Drew. She performed "What A Feeling" the 80's classic by Irene Cara. I knew before one note was sung that this girl was going to blow me away. She started it off slow and with the second verse she stepped it up a little bit, bringing it higher and showing off her vocal ability.

The judges have to be scared. This contest is Drew's to win. I am not even going to use the word lose. Drew and Josh are ahead of everyone else. Simon's decision is going to be hard...except for keeping Drew. That is easy. Big time.

Tiah Tolliver was next and she was going to have to give the performance of a lifetime. Although I liked the song choice of "Sweet Dreams" and her Rihannaesque performance, it was not enough. Can we fix that lipstick? Reid criticized for song and contestant choice yet again. I know that has to irk Simon but Reid is right. Nicole slammed Tiah and Simon big time. Big time! I had to wonder if Simon would keep her just to prove everyone wrong or see that Tiah's time is gone?

Melanie Amaro was the last performance of the night, saved by Simon. She performed "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston and everyone thought he performance was amazing. It was good. It was good to make it to the next round but not better than Drew. Simon made the right choice brining her back however.

Simon announced that Drew and Rachel were going through and made us wait for him to announce Melanie joining them. Simon has the strongest group but Melanie is one bad performance away from elimination. She is going to have to bring it week after week and hope Drew falters. Doubt it but you never know.-DocFB
