Russell Brand Files For Divorce From Katy Perry

Some said it wouldn't last...and they were right. Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry.
The couple were married over a year, over 300 more days than say Kim Kardashian. They met in 2009 and hooked up at the MTV Video Music Awards that year. On New Years Eve of 2009, Russell proposed to Katy. The divorce comes as a shock to most.
Katy and Russell were married on October 23rd, 2010 in India. Katy was on Ellen in November talking about how much in love her and Russell were. She stated that they can't go more than 2 weeks without seeing each other. The couple have not been seeing eye to eye recently and spent Christmas apart. We knew it was close to two weeks but still did not think anything of it when Russell was spotted without his wedding ring this week. Katy rarely wore hers.
Russell has released this statement regarding the divorce;
"Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
As many of you may know, I didn't like Katy and Russell being together from the start. It wasn't jealousy from him having one of the most beautiful women in the world. I just didn't like it. As they were getting married and she talked about how happy she was, I was happy for her and bit my tongue.
Katy has yet to release a statement regarding the divorce. It is rumored that Katy was going to file for divorce and Russell beat her to the punch.-DocFB

L.A. Weekly has just come out with its best of list for 2011 and Prince is mentioned for number 1 show of the year.
Along with Prince's Forum run, he did 3 shows at the House Of Blues and 2 shows at the Troubadour.

Adam Lambert Tweets About Arrest: Lesson Learned

Adam Lambert has been released from jail after an argument with his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen turned into a small altercation outside of a bar in Finland.
Adam has since tweeted about the incident;
Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. 
Sounds about right to me. He said he feels guilt over it and his lesson has been learned. If this happens again, then maybe we can question things. Right now, I am satisfied with his answer.

Video Premiere: Asher Roth “Common Knowledge”
Asher Roth has just dropped "Common Knowledge" his latest video. His flow is better on this one than previous ones, at least to me.
Still not feeling the line about "no crying in baseball" just because it comes off as somewhat cheesy, but hey, you all may like that.

Birdman has released a new video for "Y. U. Mad" featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
Minaj claims she is the female weezy and we actually think she is bigger in pop culture than Weezy right now, but that is a subject for another day.
