It has been a while since we have shown Nikka Costa some love as she has been giving us some funk lately.
Nikka's Box is Nikka's youtube channel where every week, she gives you something from her box. Here is a totally funky version of "Can't Never Did Nothin' jamming with Josh Lopez.
Loving it! Hope you do too.-DocFB

Pop star Adam Lambert was arrested in Finland after a skirmish with his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen. Contrary to other reports, the fight was small and there was no violence on Lambert's part.
After seeing the Daily Mail quote a blogger who shall remain nameless about what happened who wasn't there, we decided to take to Twitter and track down a few people who were in Finland and knew what really happened.
It does appear that Adam and Sauli were intoxicated and did fight outside a gay bar titled "Don't Tell Momma" early Thursday morning. Another couple tried to get involved to break it up and Adam swung at the woman, but the woman says Adam swung at her accidentally and did not do it intentionally. Adam was emotional and apologized to the woman. Keep in mind, these people who were involved know both Adam and Sauli. One Twitter user had more info than others so thank you to Illuxxia
It seems like it was more of a yelling match then say fisticuffs. It is a minor incident and was not violent, despite what that other dumb blogger says.
This is highly unlike Adam. It is not like Adam and I are BFF. However, I have seen him at several events in Los Angeles and he is always quite the gentleman. Taking time to talk to young fans and pose for pictures. He is friendly and down to earth. Always a thank you and a please when asking for things. Basically, a lot in Hollywood and former Idol winners could take a lesson from Adam.
As I stated before, this is not like Adam. Everyone has an off night and for Adam, this was a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Adam is coming off quite a successful year with his new single "Better Than I Know Myself" which is rising up the charts with a video to follow in January 2012. He rocked the Euro MTV Awards performing with Queen and is putting finishing touches on his next album "Trespassing" which will feature songs with Nikka Costa and Nile Rodgers. The album is due for release in March 2012 and we have a feeling tonight's actions will be barely remembered by then.
When we have more info, we will pass it on. Sauili has been released and said it was "drunk hugging" more than a fight.-DocFB
Diagnosis: We Got You Adam.......
Update: Both Adam and Saulili have been released and were not charged and are downplaying everything.
"Looking Back On Love" is a new Lenny Kravitz documentary focusing on his recording of "Black & White America" and 2 years of his life.
The film, directed by grammy nominated Mathieu Bitton, follows Lenny Kravitz to the Bahamas, New Orleans, and Paris. It gives you an all access look into Lenny with studio sessions, family, and intimate moments. The attention to detail is vast. It is like getting every nook and cranny of your favorite muffin and savoring it with your favorite drink. It really makes me wish more artists would do behind the scenes footage like this.
The movie was premiered at the Grammy Museum and we were able to talk to Lenny and the film maker about "Looking Back On Love" and more.
Lenny participated in a Q and A, and I made sure to ask a few questions during that time.

It seems the band formerly known as The Time may be the band formerly known as The Original 7ven as Jesse Johnson has announced he is leaving the band.
Jesse Johnson took to his Facebook Fan Page to make the announcement;
I don't really think I'll be performing with the Original 7 (or The Time if your nasty) any more! We simple don't see eye to eye on anything. Love the guys, but I feel in my heart it's "Time" to walk away while we're all still friends. May Peace be you.
Jesse Johnson Bey ♥
Wow. So, I am wondering if this will derail all plans for a tour and to promote the album in 2012. I mean, how can you tour as The Original 7ven when it would actually be 6?
The band announced their reunion earlier this year and with the reunion came the name change as they no longer could be called "The Time" due to Prince owning the name. All this ground work and a funky album and......now this.
We wonder what the other boys in the band think of this news?-DocFB

In what is sure to shock the PTC and others, Howard Stern made it official by announcing he is the new judge of "America's Got Talent" this morning.
Howard Stern replaces Piers Morgan and the show wanted Howard so bad, they are moving the entire show and other judges to New York so Howard does not interrupt his radio show, which is based in New York.
I am sure the NBC executives are extremely pleased. NBC is struggling for a hit and the attention and controversy that will follow Howard and wondering what he will say next will entice people.
He is not as raunchy as he used to be and is a perfect choice for a judge. Still, it is going to ruffle some feathers.
What do you think of the choice?-DocFB

Kanye & Jay Z took their "Watch The Throne" tour to the L.A. Staple Center for a 3rd time, and performed "N****'s In Paris" for a record-breaking 10th time.
The night before, they performed it 9 times. The night before it was 8 times. Over the tour, they have been performing it over and over, but not the numbers they did in L.A.
I don't know the excitement of hearing the same song performed 10 times but people are going nuts over this song. That's Cray....so to speak.
Check it out history being made as this is video of the 10th time they performed "N****'s In Paris" for the 10th time.-DocFB

George Clooney will be on the cover of the January issue of Esquire Magazine talking about his millions, a killer script, and his clout.
George sat down with Esquire recently and shared his money tips:
“I didn't put money in the stock market. To me that's like Vegas without the dancing girls — none of the fun, no gambling or dancing or drinking — and you don't get to participate. So I paid off my house in cash when I could. It's about having a foundation for when things go bad. I still have that mentality. When things go badly, I'll have this piece of land I can sell first, and then I have this piece of land I can sell second. You always think that way.”
The Cloonsteer also discusses his need for a killer script:
“Good storytelling sets you up. There's a scene at the end of Michael Clayton where I get into the car and say, "Just drive." It's a close-up of me and we're driving. Everybody really loves that scene because it just stays on me the whole time. And people ask, ‘What was going through your head’ The truth of the matter is if you showed that scene at the beginning of the movie, people would say, ‘I'm bored out of my mind.’ So that shows you that it's not the actor that's doing that — it's the story that led to that and got you there. The trick as an actor is not to sell it. Let the story do the work.”
George as well talked about his Hollywood power:
"I have a real interest in pushing some of the limits of things that studios don't want to make. Because I can. I won't be able to at some point in the near future. But right now I can, and while I can, I want to do it. So when you're eighty years old and they ask you what you did, you can go, ‘When I had the keys to the car, I drove it as fast as I could and as hard as I could. I took it to places that the owner didn't really want me to take it.’ That's a fun thing to do. Understanding that at some point they're going to come back and repossess the car. I don't mind that. I just want to be able to say we gave it a shot when we had the time.”
Sounds cool to us. What do you think?-DocFB
