10 Jan Katy Perry Drops Out Of The People’s Choice Awards

Although Katy Perry was scheduled to attend the People’s Choice Awards that air this Wednesday, she has backed out of the event.
She tweeted that she would not be attending. She did not give a reason why, but we can “assume” that she is not ready for the spotlight and making her first appearance after the announcement of her divorce from Russell Brand.
Katy is nominated for 7 awards at the People’s Choice Awards. 1 for The Smurfs movie, 1 in Television, and 5 for her music.
No word if this will affect her chances of winning.-DocFB
