So much for waiting The Avengers movie to open this weekend in the U.S. to see the new trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" Batman trailer.
Within 1 day, the trailer was seen by 2 million people and also drove people overseas to see The Avengers movie last weekend where it pulled in $178 million dollars in its opening weekend over there.
This is the final Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale Batman/Dark Knight films. Both films before this 3rd one have been instant classics with comic book and movie lovers.
It is not a matter of will you see this Dark Knight movie, but when?-DocFB
Rihanna let it be known as soon as her video for "Where Have You Been" was released that she wanted the most views ever in 1 day.
The video received over 1 million views in that time which we are sure is impressive but did not eclipse the record of others. Maybe next time, release it on a Thursday/Friday where your fans will have the time to watch a video, that is not exactly groundbreaking, again and again.
That is not to say we do not like it. It is visually stunning, but one of her best songs. What do you think of the video?-DocFB
Jason Mraz channeled his inner Bret Michaels performing "I Won't Give Up" from his "Love Is A Four Letter Word" CD on The Jimmy Kimell Live show.
It is rare when we see an outside concert for television and the song is a slow acoustic number. Who does Jason think he is, John Mayer? We kid.
The guitarist behind him looks ready for a solo at any moment. Check out the clip above.-DocFB
Team iLuminate were finalist on "America's Got Talent" last year and took over Ellen's stage for a in the dark Tron like performance.
We dig the jacket they hooked Ellen up with at the end. Although, we think it should have said Funkenberry. Just sayin'. Check out the performance above and let us know what you think.-DocFB
Before her sold out show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles this weekend, Ingrid Michaelson performed on Conan.
She performed "Blood Brothers" and as an Internet exclusive, she also performed "Ghost" which we have for you below. Both songs are from her CD "Being Human" which is available now.
Is it us or does she have that Tina Fey rock girl thing going on? No?-DocFB
Here is our Funky Friday Night Jam "Again By Lenny Kravitz Stankonia Mix!
I had to pull this one out and share with you guys. Outkast and Lenny Kravitz? What?
It is a really great song and getting that stank on it makes it even better.
We also hope that you love the pic we took of when Lenny was here in Los Angeles a couple months back. You can download the photo in high quality right HERE!
Let us know what you think of the Funky Friday Night Jam!-DocFB
Here is the brand spankin' new video for "Shadow Days" by John Mayer.
We do not know why but with the long hair, he is reminding us of Jason Segel. It makes John look like a journeyman on the road...and it is supposed to. We dig the lyrics bout "being a good man with a good heart" and John is being completely honest in this song.
Mayer has had throat problems again that have derailed his 2012 tour but will still release his "Born And Raised" CD on May 22nd.
You can pre-order the new CD and new merchandise right HERE.-DocFB
The Twinz, Maya and Nandy McClean, lost their mother, Maureen Gwendaline Moseley.
The Twinz released this statement regarding her passing;
"As you all know she was our favorite person in the world and we loved her with all our hearts. She was a true living example of unconditional love!!!
Larry Graham's wife Tina Graham said it best, "She's there".
To us "there" is a place we all strive to get to. Of being loving, caring, giving, and gracious. To live how all the greats teach us to live, a life of service to others."
From someone who would see Mo, their mom, at events always with a smile on her face and a dance in her step, this is hard and sad. I can only imagine what it is like for the Maya and Nandy. Maureen took ill last year during Prince's 21 Nights Forum run, and it seemed like she was on the road to recovery. Their mom took ill again and were in Australia to be with her.
Maureen would house homeless children, about 200 in her lifetime. The Twinz also shared this;
"She brought us up telling us to "follow your dreams" and that "anything is possible, just trust in the universe". She allowed us the freedom to be any expression that we wanted to be and loved us unconditionally. We used to call her "The best mom in the whole wide world", and she called us" the best little girls in the whole wide world". For a magical time the 3 of us lived in a one bedroom cabin in the forest and when we'd get into bed together at night we would all say, "This is the best part". Mom truly was the best part and truly, the best part of all of us."
I'm sending heartfelt condolences to The Twinz, Maya and Nandy McClean, the entire McClean and Moseley family and friends. This world is truly a better place because she was in it. Thank you for your smile, your accomplishments, your heart that welcomed people in where they had no place to go. She will always be here...and there.-DocFB
The Wanted, a "boy band" have just released "Chasing The Sun" their new video.
The Wanted finds itself in direct competetion with other "boy band" One Direction. This has happened twice before; in the 90;s with NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys and in the late 80's with New Kids On The Block and The Boys. Aside from The Boys, all 3 other groups were able to strive and The Backstreet Boys and The New Kids have been touring as NKOTBSB for the past year.
The video is interesting and it seems to feature more "Starships" than the new Nicki Minaj video as well.
The Wanted so far may be chasing the sun but have been catching a lot of stars as of late. It may have something to do with the management team being the same as Justin Bieber's......-DocFB
