Is “Somebody That I Used To Know” Goyte Cover By Pentatonix Better Than Original

Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” featuring Kimbra has inspired several cover versions and remixes. The Pentatonix version could be called a cover and remix and to some people, it is better than the original.

The way that people were covering “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele may not know that the song is actually Bob Dylan’s and not Adele’s. The song was covered successfully by Garth Brooks and others before everyone and their mom covered it since Adele did.

Gotye’s song is everywhere.  We will be surprised if it is not the most played song at the end of the year.

We are digging Pentatonix’s version of it, but the question is, is it better than the original?-DocFB

Not better – and vocal ensembles REALLY should rise above the use of autotune!!!
