Disney has just bought Lucasfilms for $4.05 billion dollars and plan on releasing episode seven (episode VII) of the "Star Wars" franchise in 2015!
George Lucas confirmed the purchase and the making of episode VII to the associated press not long ago:
“For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see ‘Star Wars’ passed from one generation to the next,” said Lucas. “It’s now time for me to pass ‘Star Wars’ on to a new generation of filmmakers. I’ve always believed that ‘Star Wars’ could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime. I’m confident that with Lucasfilm under the leadership of Kathleen Kennedy, and having a new home within the Disney organization, ‘Star Wars’ will certainly live on and flourish for many generations to come. Disney’s reach and experience give Lucasfilm the opportunity to blaze new trails in film, television, interactive media, theme parks, live entertainment, and consumer products.”
Episode VII will be the first of the final 3 films that Lucas wrote scripts for, but never intended to release in his lifetime.
This news is huge from a tech standpoint, a financial standpoint, and for the fans, who thought they would never see an episode VII.

Diagnosis: Wow. Just....Wow.
For those wondering if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are back together, I can tell you, after seeing it with my own eyes, they most definitely are!
RPatz and Kstew were being VERY lovey dovey and affectionate towards each other during Prince's set. With Prince having the Sayers Club confiscate cellphones and camera's before anyone gained entry, it afforded the couple to be with each other without being photographed being sweet on each other once again.
The Twilight stars stayed for Prince's entire set. You would figure they would bail early to escape the madness waiting for them outside but they didn't. After his set, they walked out with Kristen clutching on to Robert's Hand while they exited the back way.
Other celebrities in attendance for the Prince show at The Sayers Club were Jenny McCarthy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Jeremy Piven.
Thanks to Chris for heads up on guest list.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Who wouldn't hook up at a Prince concert?
Prince performed along with Andy Allo at the Sayers Club on Tuesday night for a crowd just over 200 in Hollywood.
After seeing Prince perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live, I headed over to The Sayers Club where I met Damaris Lewis, the model and guest dancer for Prince on his latest tour and we did a quick interview.
You had to check your cellphones at the door, so I knew that meant no tweeting of songs performed while they were happening like I have done in the past before writing a full review.
I strike up a conversation with Hannah Ford, Prince's guest drummer, and her husband Josh and talk about the experience she has had since joining the NPG. Through the night I talk with Elissa Fiorilo-Deese, Ida, and John Blackwell, the coolest people for sure.
It is around 12:20 when Andy Allo and her band enter with the horns playing as the entered stage left.

Katy Perry performed at a rally for President Obama in Las Vegas yesterday, wearing a ballot as a dress that was marked in for Obama.
This is not the fist time Perry has shown her support for Obama and I'm sure it will not be the last.

Diagnosis: We Better Love Each other.....
Oprah Winfrey interviewed Justin Bieber before his sold out concert at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL and then the next day had dinner with the teen pop star for a second interview.
The interview is for "Oprah's Next Chapter" which airs on Oprah's OWN network.
The episode will air Thanksgiving weekend, Sunday November 25th at 9 p.m.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Thinking of Oprah singing "Boyfriend" is making me shudder.
Well, we are sure she knew the question was going to be asked, so she was prepared and quickly dismissed the thought of "Dear John" being written about John Mayer by saying "Oh, come on" to thought of him being humiliated by the song.
The question and interview took place on "Katie" Katie Couric's new talk show.
Katie asked a follow-up question of if Taylor hears from ex's about songs. Taylor said some of them like to write really long emails. The way she answered seemed to allude that it might be John writing those emails.
It seems that John is getting no sympathy in this battle. Taylor is famous for writing songs about her ex's and charring them over the coals. John writes song's about his ex's too, but mostly complimentary songs like "Your Body Is A Wonderland" which was written about Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Taylor Swift is promoting her new CD "Red" and we hear the album is John Mayer free.-DocFB

Before Andy Allo and PRINCE took the stage at The Sayers Club, the music video's for "Rock & Roll Love Affair" and "People Pleaser" were world premiered.
Prince's "Rock & Roll Love Affair" video was shown first. It is a performance clip that was filmed at his Paisley Park studios in Minneapolis. It features Andy Allo playing a heart-shaped guitar and Hannah Ford playing drums in the video.
Prince doesn't hide the words on the carpet of the NPG Music Club, his former web site that won a Webby and recieved accolades for the services and music it provided. Prince's video strengths have mostly been in performance videos such as "Musicology", "Call My Name", "Little Red Corvette", and "1999". Although videos such as "Black Sweat" were very good, his performance clips have been better.
The video was shot by Chris Robinson in color but sometimes shows behind the scenes camerawork in black & white. Prince is sporting the fro and shades in the entire video.
Later in the night, Prince asked me what I thought of Hannah in the video and I said "She is cool" and then Prince said "She is gonna make me look like a star" which got a laugh from Hannah.
Next was Andy Allo's "People Pleaser" video which was a full length video as well shot at Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis in September.
It features her entire band with horn players along with close-ups of Andy singing and some profile shots as well. The video reminded me of old George Benson videos to where the musicians are actually an integral part of the concept of the video, which is rare nowadays.
The performance clip works well for Andy on "People Pleaser" and alos features a segment where words flash on the screen and back to Andy singing them.
Both video's are not low-budget and are quite good and polished in the sense of the musicianship is captured for all to see.
Prince and Andy debuting their new video's in a Hollywood nightclub is following the trend of Lana Del Rey and other's who have been doing so before the video's are released elsewhere.
Andy was pleased with the video and thanked the crowd during her set for allowing her to show it to them before anyone else.
There is no word when the video's will be out for the world to see, but as soon as we have more info on that or obtain the video, it will be shared here.-DocFB
