Sesame Street on FOX? Ha! Elmo: “Elmo’s favorite color is red! Elmo likes red states!” Big Bird: “I like numbers! The number 1% is greeaaat!” Ernie: “Hey Burt! I guess we’re going to have to have separate bedrooms.”

And it’s still not what was said. How is everybody forgetting about the whole “If it means borrowing money from China to pay for PBS” part? That’s huge! Do we really need to be further in debt to a country (the government, not the citizenry) who quite frankly we can’t trust? Sesame Street will find a home elsewhere.

PBS today is not the same PBS we grew up on. It just isn’t.

Seriously? I check out this website daily for the great content but this is garbage. If they do cut funding to PBS I’m am positive Big Bird will live on in another network like NBC, FOX, or ABC. All these channels you should be able to get for free just like PBS. We choose to not pay for cable or Dish and we get lots of great channels from a free off-air antenna. Sesame Street is too good to just die with PBS.
But Really? That is what you want to focus on from last nights debate?

I grew up on PBS, & still watch it 2day!!! 4 children n da hoods dat don’t have cable 2 supplement and/or reenforce what they learn, ie Nickelodeon…PBS is only thing some kids have 2 watch. May I add, Nickelodeon started out 2 b da cable version of PBS, but has redirected its focus 2 add programs that r more ntertainment vs. educational. Xample I can recall dat da Cartoon Network showed old school tv shows dat I grew up on, ie Johnny Quest & Fat Albert, now they have adult cartoons. Dat I wouldn’t now want my niece 2 check out after prime time!!!
