Billie Joe Armstrong Of Green Day Talks Drug Addiction With Rolling Stone

Billie Joe Armstrong Photo: Rolling Stone.com

Billie Joe Armstrong came clean when it came to his new interview with Rolling Stone magazine; he was a functioning alcoholic.

The lead singer of Green Day, who will be doing their first show since BJ exited rehab on March 10th, was very straightforward.

“I played onstage loaded a lot. I'd have anywhere from two to six beers and a couple of shots before I went onstage, then go and play the gig and drink for the rest of the evening on the bus.”

“Fall asleep, wake up the next day, feel like s***, do sound-check... it was over and over again. In that way, I was a functioning alcoholic. I've been trying to get sober since 1997, right around Nimrod. But I didn't want to be in any programs. Sometimes, being a drunk, you think you can take on the whole world by yourself. This was the last straw. I had no choices anymore,”

He also talked about his addiction to pills;

“I started combining them to a point where I didn't know what I was taking during the day and what I was taking at night. It was just this routine. My backpack sounded like a giant baby rattle."

The singer wrote a song about Amy Winehouse and did not learn her lesson. We are hoping this time, through his own experiences, he learned his own lessons.-DocFB

Diagnosis: Glad you're better....but don't fall into old habits again BJ.

In the new interview with Notion Magazine, Nicole had this to say about "Pop Stars"....

"I was so theatre at the time. I was like 'I am not going to be a Spice Girl.' That wasn't me"

"I mean I'm a Spice Girls fan now, but at the time I only wore black and I was Goth. I would have been Goth Spice. Ethnic Chanting Spice, that's who I thought I was,"

On passing on "We Found Love" by Calvin Harris:

"I passed on 'We Found Love'. I got the demo of that song and I was busy at the time."

We included her latest song "Boomerang" above.-DocFB

Video: Jimmy Kimmel Challenges Morrissey After Singer Cancels Appearance & Trashes Late Night Host

Morrissey Promo Photo

Jimmy Kimmel is upset with Morrissey for dropping out of an appearance on his show over the cast of "Duck Dynasty" being on the show and then ripping the late night host for choosing them over him to appear on his show.

He compared Jimmy's way of thinking to those in a fog of the 1950's, where Kimmel challenged Morrissey to appear on his show to talk out their fued.

Kimmel tries to calm himself but does appear genuine about wanting to talk the matter over with the singer.

Morrissey has yet to respond.-DocFB

Mila Kunas Photo: Craig McDean for Marie Claire UK

Mila Kunis says she is ready to explore other parts of the industry, although she does not want to do 3 movies a year. This came from a new new interview in the new Marie Claire UK edition.

"When '70s (That 70's Show) ended I went on a mission to prove everybody wrong. I read for movies I would never do. I auditioned for everything, just to show I could do it. I needed to prove I was capable of doing things other than—forget comedy—other than a TV show."

"I don't think I can do three-movies-a-year thing. It's too much. There comes a point in your life where you want to be... home."

"I want to explore other parts of this industry to see what aspects of it I can get myself into, so that I can.. work out of home maybe? Like producing. Then I can have, like, a life, in one location."

Interesting. She didn't say she wants to do music like everyone else usually does. Hmm. Go on Mila.-DocFB
