Feb ONEst Photo: Twitter.com/3rdEyeGirl
3rd Eye girl has struck again!!!! The elusive thief has posted soundboard recordings of PRINCE’s Dakota Jazz Club show, this time from show 1.

Have to LOVE the “Stratus” jam….

This comes a week after 3rd Eye Girl posted “Chapter & Verse” from night two of the Dakota shows.

Earlier today, 3rd Eye Girl hipped us to a wonderful cover (ahem) of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case Of You” and we can understand quickly how it is a favorite of 3rd eye’s and other eyes.

Enjoy it while you can this weekend jam.-DocFB

Diagnosis: What do U think of Dakota 1?

    Boring.
Someone needs to kick Prince in the ass.
Then we might get more songs like “Screw Driver”.

The problem for Prince since 1988 (when his time of innovation ended) is that everyone around him says “yes” to any question. Sad to see people who don’t know him act the same.

Wow, had I heard the Stratus jam somewhere, I’d never guess it was Prince. Very nice.

The “Stratus” jam has an Early-Herbie-Hancock sort of sound to it. More Please; and send it out to the entire world…

Thankful for the share, very generous to let all fans worldwide hear what a great time was had by all that could attend.

EYE C the band for that night billed as “soundcheck” was

Prince (guitar, keyboards), Ronald Bruner Jr. (drums), Andrew Gouché (bass), Cassandra O’Neal (keyboards, vox)

By the accounts of those in attendance, both they and Prince were super impressed with RBJ.

On an unrelated note, I’ll keep lobbying, PLEASE when material is made available for sale ensure that it is available in lossless format whether download or physical.

Very cool Jam! Great Solos! Anyone knows who’s playing Keys, Sax, Drums?
Bass is probably Ida, Guitar Prince, I suppose.
