p.s. I suggest buying the dvd “Everything” by Falco, I think it’s in a different format but plays on my pc drives and blu ray player. Besides tons of music videos it has interviews with the man himself, they have english subtitles to help. The conversations are quite interesting/revealing

Falco had some really great music, both in the 80s and 90s. Considered a one hit wonder, but he had two hits in the top ten. Plus Der Kommisar was covered by After the fire (though Falco’s original is best).I love Falco’s music though I can’t understand German. But this was the cut back in the day. It was right around this time, that I started listening to whole albums instead of top 40 singles. It was prince’s around the world in a day and Parade that made me realise the best stuff never makes it to the radio. I just like the idea behind this song, that Mozart was like the rock star of his time. Of course it’s shown in an over-the-top excessive way that was soooo 80s. may seem cheesy but it’s a good cheese. If Falco had been born american he would have set the top 40 here on fire, he definitely was influenced heavily by american music, especially rap and dance. He would have fit in perfectly in the 80s over here.
