I’m digging the free-fall of the 3rdEyeGirl songs. The stripped-down “simplicity” of That Girl Thang as it follows Screwdriver, Breakfast Can Wait and Boyfriend does paint quite the picture of someone deeply affected with a condition of the heart–how does Prince capture so purely, in lyrical and musical composition, the raw emotions of the senses?
