Madonna Best Dressed Of The Night As The Met Goes Punk

Madonna Photo: David Fisher/ Rex Features

Madonna stole the show at the Met last night where the theme was Punk Chic and she got the look hands down from the stockings to the studded jacket and with a cross thrown in.

The cross is the special touch even though Madonna follows the Kabbalah still…right?

Regardless, Madonna had it all last night.

The pink suede stilettos were a nice touch as well.

Worst Dressed at the 2013 Met Gala according to Eonline.com “Looks like the Material Girl forgot a whole lot of material with this bum-baring Riccardo Tisci ensemble that showed off her, ahem, assets.”

She looks amazing. Seriously the best dressed of the night. who else can steal the red carpet like she can?!?! No one! Yes, it’s no longer the 80’s or 90’s but I DO NOT want Madonna covering up the cheeks. She looks better then most of the girls in their 20’s. Never bow down to society. And Madonna never will. And for that I will be forever grateful.

I think she looks great. I totally disagree with the whole “old skin” thing – somewhere along the lines, society was taught that you couldn’t celebrate your body past a certain age, so now we make all sorts of judgements about it. I’d much rather see Madonna in her 50s, 60s or even 70s showing off her ‘cheeks’ than the majority of people at any age. She’s got it, she’s flaunting it and just like she’s never let society dictate what she can and can’t do, right throughout her career, she’s not buying into this arbitrary age paradigm now. Thank God there are still some people in the world willing to challenge our habitual thinking and societal beliefs.

She looks good However, cover those cheeks. This is no longer the 80″s, 90″s or even 2010. She is too old for that. After 50 it’s just considered ”old skin”.

Definitely. Her look may not be for everyone but it showcases the fearlessness of the punk attitude. The pink heels are PERFECTION.
