Lenny Kravitz and Gladys Knight recorded a song together for “Lee Daniels The Butler” and it will be featured on the soundtrack to the film!

The photo above is of Gladys Knight & Lenny Kravitz at The Village Recorder studio in Santa Monica, listening back to Ms Knight’s freshly recorded vocals on a song for film “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” (Weinstein Co.). Photographed by Mathieu Bitton.

For the first time here, the song title is revealed! The song title is “You And I Ain’t Nothin No More” written by Lenny Kravitz.

Lenny had this to say exclusively to us regarding recording with Gladys Knight:

“Writing “You And I Ain’t Nothin’ No More” for “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” was an added bonus to my involvement in the film. Moreover, having Gladys Knight sing the song was a musical experience that I will cherish forever. Gladys Knight’s performance delivered a haunting soulfulness that brought forth the full emotion of each word.” -Lenny Kravitz
