2 new albums is very good news (I hope all involved work hard to push a few singles up the singles charts; albums hit hard for 1 or 2 weeks then fade – great individual songs are timeless.) But where is the ‘major news’, the ‘mega news’?
A rerelease of ‘Purple Rain’ Special deal would be smart: buy a ticket to view ‘Purple Rain’ in a theater and get a discount coupon for a new ‘Purple Rain’ CD and/or DVD…. There are so many great marketing/advertising approaches to take, I hope Prince is open to them all.
