George Michael has just confirmed the rumors and officially announced he is performing at the closing ceremonies of this years Olympic games.
George took to his twitter to express his nervousness about performing at the closing ceremonies and him have not been able to perform for over a year:
Obviously a bit nervous not having played for nearly a year, but rehearsals sounding great so far!
George has a life-threatening illness last year that left him with no voice and losing a considerable amount of weight. Aside from a press conference after his release where he thanked the doctors for saving his life, George has been pretty much out of the public eye. he does have dates in Australia set for later this year.
George has not announced which songs he will be performing but we have a feeling it will be jam-packed with his hits from the 80's, and 90's, and hopefully a never before released song....because as much as I LOVE George, that last song was.....not even worthy of a bronze medal.
Are you looking forward to George Michael's performance at the closing ceremonies?-DocFB
D'Angelo dropped some new music during his House Of Blues 4th Of July show on the Sunset Strip. The new song is entitled "The Charade" and we are not sure what happened to the audio around the 2:12 mark but Jesse Johnson's solo still kills!
Although D'Angelo did NOT play "Untitled" he did play "Lady" which had the women shouting things that could have been shouted after the song. Check out the performance of "Lady" below.
We want to thank Cody aka darklotus69 for providing the exclusive footage above for us.
What do you think of D'Angelo's new song "The Charade" and the classic "Lady" live performances?-DocFB
Here is your first look at photos of D'Angelo's House Of Blues Sunset show in July 4th. The photos are amazing. We will have a full review of this show shortly and a few other surprises for you here on Funkenberry.com
Karmin took the stage L.A. Pride this weekend performing their megahit "Brokenhearted" for the pride crowd.
The youtube found group rocked out for crowd. The audio on this clip sounds better than the other ones we found. We found one closer below, but as you can see, the audio becomes distorted. Hopefully, someone can mesh the close up clip with the audio from the one above.
Check out the clips above and let us know what you think!-DocFB
50 female fans were injured during Justin Bieber's Oslo performance at the Opera House, which caused a state of emergency for the country as too many fans showed up for the event.
Norway is investigating the promotion of the event and to make sure nothing like this happens again.
We are told that Justin had to be helicoptered in and then took a boat out.
Justin performed his hit "Baby" and new material "All Around The World" and "As Long As You Love Me" which is NOT the Backstreet Boys song from the 90's.
Check out the performance without getting crushed by Norwegians.-DocFB
The dates so far are Sydney at the Allphones Arena on May 11th , then in Melbourne May 14th at the Rod Laver Arena and then in Brisbane May 18that the Entertainment Centre. Although not confirmed, we have a feeling multiple shows will happen.
You have to give it up to the promoter for making this happen. We have been waiting for official confirmation for WEEKS and sometimes, that is not easy. I apologize for my delay but wanted to be extremely accurate and as you can see, we were able to get a 2nd date added for our patience.

In what will sure be a promotional tour to remember, Adam Lambert kicked it off performing "Better Than I Know Myself" on The Tonight Show last night.
"Better Than I Know Myself" can be described as a power ballad that Adam interjects his octave range into from time to time. Sometimes, "The Tonight Show's" sound people mix a little too well for my liking. Some will say that Adam was lip syncing, while to me he clearly was not, but they mix his vocals to be the same level as everything else. They even tried to take the crowd out of the mix but you can pick them up big time. Those Glamberts travel well.
A big note to the Tonight Show; can you please make musical performances available separate from the whole episode? Jimmy Fallon, Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel can do it, so why can't you? It is rather annoying. All the links shut down on youtube because you cannot provide the footage from your other show.
On that note, make sure to click the last bar to watch Adam Lambert's performance of "Better Than I Know Myself" on the Tonight Show while we wait for Adam to rock Ellen where we know the Glamberts will be loud and be allowed to be free.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Not a fan of ballads as first singles but Adam gets a pass this time...
Johnny Gill performed last night performing new songs and classics and towards the end, he brought out Ralph Tresvant from New Edition to sing with him.
They performed "Can You Stand The Rain" the 2nd major hit New Edition had after Gill replaced Bobby Brown in the band. For those taking note, their first hit with Gill was "If It Isn't Love" btw.
It was one of many highlights during Gill's set, which was an extended one, as the opening act El Debarge did not show up last night. Gill and later Brian McKnight mad Debarge an afterthought however.
Enjoy this live performance of "Can You Stand The Rain" by Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Sunny days....everybody loves them.....
