UPDATE:  I FEEL WE WERE LEAD ON A PURPLE GOOSE CHASE TONIGHT……SO FAR.  HEAR THIS PLACE, THEN THAT PLACE, BUT SO FAR….IT’S NO PLACE!

    I’ve said this many many times before and I will say it again. Why is it that every time someone either does not believe a story about Prince [even tabloids] or doesn’t jump to conclusions about him, they’re a ”fam” or ”ass kisser”? Modernaire, does this mean MJ fans are ”fams” then?

    And let me just add, gas is expensive to go around on a Wednesday night from Downtown Nokia Cumbia Room to Troubadour, Roxy, Viper… helloooh.

    I’m sorry but those rumors of playing somewhere are just like not working anymore.

    I mean, drop the hint, then a few hours before burn up fan sites and entertiainment gossip/news site like this one with VERIFIED GUARANTEED location for this last minute Hit N Run surprise concert!

    That way, us non-connected-to-the-purple-illuminati-long-time-fans can at least TRY, or CONSIDER it…?

    It was fine when say, there was a possibility at Glam Slam West that Prince MAY play that night. Or when you saw unusual activity and you knew, without the use of having to kiss Prince Family ass to be part of that wacko fam click…

    But these sort of things, these sudden maybe-play-here?…there? Whooo knows? GAMES are ridiculous for an aging fan base with families and other stuff.

    Who ends up going to the shows? That click that somehow still exists and a bunch of alcoholic hipster-tech-under-30’s crowd who happen to be hanging out at that bar, club on a Wednesday.

    Part of me from following Prince for so long (loosely in recent years), feels he does this little shows as a way of dealing with more stressful issues like the whole 21nights Forum/Live Nation issue. The crowds love assures him, the music makes him forget the problems maybe.
