Here is the latest rehearsal jam from PRINCE & THE NPG. We have been waiting to share this with you and now, we finally can!!
As we first told you about late last week, this is Prince’s musical response to Terry Lewis asking if Prince needed an opening act for his upcoming Australian Tour and was also sent to Paul Peterson of Fdeluxe (Formerly The Family) before anyone else.
We promised you that it is hot, funky, dirty, and will leave you in puddle of sweat.

As we said over the weekend, Janelle Monae and Deliah are possible opening acts for Prince’s “Welcome 2 Australia” leg of the tour. Will anyone else be coming along?

Though P’s band has improved this is not as funky as the Original 7ven. Nor is it as funky as the NPG Trio. Thanks though 2 Prince for allowing us to hear this rehearsal. It’s always a joy to hear what P is doing. Thanks and good luck with the upcoming tour Prince/NPG.

Posted at 08:54h, 23 AprilI guess there are too many people around Prince these days that say he’s too cool/funky instead of giving real feedback. And the ones that give real feedback are the ones that are leaving (or the other way around)..
And on top of that the urge to proof something is gone.. If every1 says your funky you don’t need to prove anything anymore. There’s no more challenge..

If Prince is telling The Family and The Time that he’s “taking back the ship” because they “should have been a little more hip” he’s a far, far bigger penis that I ever thought.
I can’t really think of any other reason he’d send FDeluxe and the O7 a version of Mutiny with new lyrics. But hey ho.
