3rdEyeGirl is at at it again! They just put out a live soundboard recording of PRINCE & The NPG performing “Chapters & Verse” from the Dakota shows in Minneapolis!

Be prepared for the funk and hopefully we will get more than this gem soon!

Bobby Z. of the Revolution said that the Dakota will never be the same after these shows. Just like First Avenue wasn’t the same after “Purple Rain” back in the day.

    Nice and tight funky groove…puts me in the mindset of the old days of the Revolution jam session. I’m sure that there r more lyrics…sounded like it was an impromptu set of lyrics….made up on the spot. Like I said…very nice! I’m glad to see Prince return to his funk roots!

    Pretty cool jam… would’ve liked a few more “verses” though… after a couple of minutes, these prolonged jam sessions get me bored even though it’s funky… change it up just a bit??
