PRINCE Rocks A Wedding, A City Winery, 2 Livestreams, &…Paisley Park?

City Winery

PRINCE took over the George Lucas wedding this weekend and then performed late night at the City Winery. They did a livestream from the show of “Extraloveable”, “Little Red Corvette” and went back during the final encore.

Later that night/early morning, a rep for 3rdEyeGirl teased that Paisley Park might be opened this weekend for a performance. After another livestream last night, they stated that something is happening this weekend, but they are not sure where.

Last night, the profile update of 3rdEyeTV changed to:

Back home in Minnesota. So beautiful here in the summer time. Thanks for staying tuned in…

Now although 3rdEyeGirl said Saturday night there would not be livestreams for a few days, it looked like something was going to go down. Within 2 hours, something did.

Menstrual

A mixing board started playing an instrumental entitled “Menstrual Cycle” which was about 10 minuted in length. A piece of paper was put on the board asking “What Is Plectrum Electrum” as that played briefly.

Then another instrumental entitled “Octopus Heart” was played with the question “How many hearts does an Octopus have?” being written on a piece of paper. The answer? 3. This was about 4 minutes in length.

Shortly after another instrumental entitled “Moon Drops” was played. The question this time was “How does one get visine into his/her eye?”

Another question was asked towards the bottom of the screen now; “The 3rd Heart Of The Menstrual Cycle Originally Dropped From…..”

It appears that these are tracks from “Plectrum Electrum” which we were told before would be an all instrumental album with one track sung by PRINCE and one sung by Hannah. If we hear anything different, we will let you know.

Shortly after, a rep for 3rdEyeGirl came in the room and said the band left. They talked about something def happening in Minnesota this weekend, but not sure where it would be. They said if you have family out there, you betta get to planning. Please note: they are saying that not me.

They also said the show would be livestreamed but not all of it, just like Chicago, which was very cool to see.

When the livestream goes live, there still is no heads up except an email as it goes live. We do try to tweet about it and facebook fan page it as it happens, which is quicker than a post here for now.

As info becomes available for this weekend, we will keep you updated.-DocFB

Diagnosis: It sounds like something is def gonna happen this weekend in the Twin Cities….

Paisley Park…. I hope to someday. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a child. Standing in line for the last show of theirs that I caught in San Diego…. I met a girl who had been to one of the Paisley Park parties. I know it could come true…. somehow, someway. Anything is possible. But until then…. I’ll dig what I can get and continue to be a true funk soldier!

I really thought I was going to be able to have time to save to be there when Paisley opened. Talk about irony.
