Morrissey Promo Photo Morrissey is set to tour the U.S. starting in May and will also release his first album in 5 years! The U.S. tour will start on May 7 in San Jose at the City National Civic Center Auditorium. The tour will continue across the country through June 21, when it concludes in Brooklyn, New York at Barclays Center Arena. The tour of more than two-dozen performances will include dates at renowned theaters, opera houses, concert halls and arenas, affirming the artist's unique relationship with with his fans built on a 30-year recording and performing career that enables him to command the stage at venues of every kind. Morrissey's special guest on all dates will be singer, songwriter and keyboardist Kristeen Young, with Tom Jones joining Morrissey as support artist in Los Angeles and Sir Cliff Richard as support artist in New York City. Skaters Promo Photo New York City's very own SKATERS have announced that they will hit the road for a spring headlining tour presented by FILTER in support of their debut album Manhattan, which will be released by Warner Bros. Records on February 25th. Following appearances at SXSW 2014, the tour will begin in Santa Ana, Calif., on March 18th and finishes up in Philadelphia on April 4th. Before the U.S. tour begins, SKATERS will celebrate the release of Manhattan with a hometown album party show at The Bowery Ballroom the night before the album street date on February 24th. The reason being that Anthony Kiedis had to have surgery on a foot injury. The Chili Peppers announced that Anthony had several foot injuries and that he underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and also correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot. Anthony is expected to make a full recovery and the U.S. tour will kick off in April.
