I am so glad the weekend is here.  This week seemed longer than most.

    Going to the NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL in Rotterdam on Saturday. Very happy to see SMV, Erykah Badu, George Duke and Candy Dulfer with Special Guests there. Dr. can u find out who will be Candy’s special guests ? ;-) The last times she performed at the festival and announced “special guests” she had Sheila E. and Rosie Gaines.

    Sheila AND Rosie? Damn!! Must’ve been some show!! The weekend is here, and my 13 year old is spending it in the hospital with viral meningitis, so its probably not gonna be a good weekend in my house, but I Do hope the Doc has a lovely weekend. And I wanted to give a special shout and gratitude to the Nurses and Staff @ Children’s Hospital in St Louis, Mo! For takin great care of my son!

    It has been a very long week. I’m going to check out Jamie Foxx in concert 2nite — Sat. & Sun. gonna play it by ear — maybe check out a movie.

    Thanks Controversy and Strit.. right now the doctors are pretty confident that it’s just viral and not the worse bacterial or spinal, so he’s just waiting today and over night tonight to get the test results back and he should be home tomorrow, which would make it a great weekend, indeed!!!

    I’m going to the beach tomorrow. I’m gonna get me a tan (like I need to be any darker lol) and play in the sunshine!

    So glad you asked…you’re actually the ONLY one! So thanks:) Yes…truely a long week this one. Going to a bar tomorrow to see a friend play his new songs live for the first time. Exciting! Have a great weekend you too!
