Sports Boxers n Briefs October 12th

The Dodgers, Angels, Yankees, all swept their 1st round opponents in the playoffs while the Phillies took a 2-1 lead over the Colorado Rockies.

The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots in an overtime thriller by 2 top teams. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Kansas City Chiefs in an overtime thriller as well, where Miles Austin in his first start racked up 250 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. The Cowboys game should have never went to overtime. They are 3-2 with those 3 wins going against teams who are sub-par as well.

In honor of the Cowboys win, where they should have done what the New York Giants, and The Vikings did. Here is the full video calling out the Cowboys and Tony Romo.

Sports Boxers N Briefs: Cardinals on Holliday

Yesterday, the Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday chose a bad time to take a holiday as he misplayed what would have been the final out of the game and tie up the series 1-1. Instead, the ball hit him in his biscuits. I have seen it a million times in the playoffs; these things always end up biting you in your bootay. The Dodgers tied it up and then seconds after that won it in dramatic fashion to be up 2-0. My advice to the Dodgers; don't count on this in St. Louis. From the start, put your foot on their throat from the start or else St. Luis will win.

The Angels took it to the Red Sex winning in a 5-0 game that sometimes seemed like it was 10-0, to go up 1-0. The Rockies pulled even with Phillies at one game apiece and is the first road team in the playoffs to win on the road.-Dr.FB

Sports Boxers n Briefs Baseball Playoff Edition

All of the home teams won in the first day of baseball playoffs. The Phillies, Yankees, and surprise surprise, the Dodgers beat the Cardinals, who are favored to win.  We had to hear how Carpenter was undefeated against the Dodgers. Now, we can hear how he is undefeated against the Dodgers....in the regular season only......

The Angels take on the Boston Red Sox and hoping history is not on their side. Historically, The Red Sox own the Angels in the playoffs. The Angels have an angel on their side this year.

In NFL news, Michael Crabtree signed with the San Francisco 49ers. The deal is for 6 years and this is an update from yesterday.......

So, who you got in the playoffs round 1?-Dr.FB
