Comedian Robin Williams was found dead in his California home this morning. Suicide is being ruled as the explanation of his death. Williams was 63.
Williams had been battling depression recently and was in rehab in the past couple of years for cocaine addiction which he struggled with early in his career and has been struggling with again. Robin was also being treated for depression and was in a rehab center in Minnesota in June of this year.
The photo above was taken in the Lindstrom, Minnesota Dairy Queen where Robin, looking lanky and thin, was reportedly only visiting the Hazelden Treatment Center in Center City, Minnesota.
His wife Susan Schneider released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter:
“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin‘s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions,”
Chris Rock posted "So Sad, so funny." after hearing of his passing.
Questlove and others took to Twitter to express their sadness of his loss.

Rita Ora has released her single entitled "Single Most Amazing" for her ad as the new face of Cavalli and the tune might have a touch of "Purple" on it.
The original ad had just some music behind it, not Rita's.
Shortly after, a different video synched with "Single Most Amazing" came out.
Rita Orta tweeted out the link having Prince attached to the music and then 3RDEYEGIRL tweeted out the link as well.

Rita has spoken before that she has recorded with PRINCE for her upcoming album and one of the songs that Ora spoke about was "Champagne Kisses" with Prince and produced by Joshua Welton, not "Single Most Amazing". We have tried to confirm Prince's involvement with his camp but have heard nothing back but the speculation has already begun.-DocFB
Diagnosis: "Champagne Kisses" was originally entitled "U Will B" which was performed live and only existed in demo format after the live performances we are told.
R&B Legend Bobby Womack has passed away at the age of 70. His family confirmed to us that he passed away this morning. His record label XL Recordings, confirmed his passing in the past hour.
Womack just performed in the past few weeks. He was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2009.
The cause of death right now is unknown.
People wanted this to be a hoax like Ronnie James Dio, Vesta, George Duke and others. Sadly, it is not.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Our heartfelt condolences to the Womack family. Thank you Bobby for the music you have left us. Much Love...Always...
Legendary music reviewer and interviewer Jon Bream was invited to Paisley Park late Saturday night in Minneapolis to listen to the new "untitled" PRINCE album. Jon Bream was handing Prince awards and accolades long before a majority of the world had a chance to. You could call Bream a Prince historian, so to speak.
Bream wrote about his experience he had late last night for the Star Tribune, also having to write a review for the Bruno Mars show he saw earlier in the night.
Bream talks about the phone call he got to be at Paisley Park around midnight to listen to the new record and how he is now on Prince time. Warner Bros executives unfortunately are not on Prince time and the music icon has had a hard time reaching them in regards to the new album and more than likely the 30th anniversary remastering of "Purple Rain" due for release sometime this year, right WB?
After 1 A.M., Bream was escorted into studio B at Paisley where the 3RDEYEGIRL members were along with their spouses including the producer of the new Prince record, Joshua Welton who Prince described as a rising producer. His tour manager and a Fox 9 reporter were there as well.
OK Go is back with its first official video in two years - "The Writing's On The Wall."
"The Writing's On The Wall" is the first single from the band's new album, Hungry Ghosts, which will be released on October 14 by Paracadute via BMG. While the song, which was heard in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, concerns a relationship that may be at its end, the dizzying video, packed with optical illusions that blur the line between reality and imagination, affirms that OK Go is still very much in love with the video-making process. (Their passion for making videos and other cool stuff is what led the White House to ask the band to craft a clip announcing the date of its very first Make Faire, which takes place tomorrow, June 18).
Dave Chappelle is doing a handful of shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York with guest musicians Nas, The Roots, Erkha Badu, and more and was on Fallon to promote it. Dave also talked about being the cover of a PRINCE single and meeting Kanye West.
Props to LV who designed the cover for having her image out there for millions to see.
Dave was funny how he said Prince pulled a judo move by using Dave impersonating Prince as the cover. Like what was he going to do. Kind of like Prince's interview with Nile Rodgers in Essence. Ha!
Chappelle's story of meeting Kanye for the first time makes me wish his show was still around. Check out the full clip above.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Prince still makes the "Hot Things" swang!
Kanye West's wife made sure her mom-boobs got the attention at his Bonnaroo performance over the weekend.
More like Boobaro! Are we right? Ahem. OK then.
Diagnosis: That zipper looks like it is holding on for dear life. Ooof!
Lianna La Havas has been added as a special guest performer for PRINCE's night of the ESSENCE Festival taking place on July 4th, 2014. Janelle Monae and Nile Rodgers were announced as special guests previously.
Other than that, ESSENCE organizers say it is still a mystery as to what Prince will do at the festival.

In a new article Michelle Ebanks had this to say about what Prince will do;
"I think we'll have to see that night," Essence Communications president Michelle Ebanks, the executive who oversees the festival, said recently. "Prince is working through exactly how he's pulling (the night's roster) together. I don't want to say it's going to be one way, and then they make adjustments. They're still working out how the evening will unfold."
Essence thinks it is very likely that Janelle will do her own set on that stage that night.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Do we ever really know what Prince is up to? Don't U like surprises??
