Posted at 21:41h, 23 JulyMy only knock on Prince is that he leaves you jonesin for more. I saw him when he kicked off the west coast tour up in Vancity. Stellar on so many levels. This was taken from the show i was at. That’s me in the background :p Why can’t he release the whole thing? He only played about 12-13 songs and selfishly I was hoping to spend all night with him as he’s known to do. Not only would I give my left nut to have the full soundboard for that night but I’d give up my right one as well. He has to rank up there as one of the greatest of all time. I find it mind blowing that he doesn’t get more respect from the industry. Funk on.

Posted at 19:56h, 22 AprilI saw him at the Showbox in Seattle, Washington on Thursday April, 18, 2013. I was a bit skeptical because the reviews from Vancouver said he did not play any hits. I went to the early show at 8pm. When I heard this song I was so moved I had tears streaming down my face. It didn’t matter that all his songs were new….I loved them all. I was so impressed I stayed for the second show. This man is a musical genius. I have never felt such emotion from any performer EVER. He is truly encredible. He sounds just as good as he did when I first heard him scream in the movie Purple Rain. BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Endorphinmachine into Screwdriver must have been super and I’m glad to see Cause and Effect there. I wonder how heavy Plectrumelectrum is going to be……but will definitely get it. Go Prince!

Posted at 19:01h, 18 AprilI was there for this gem of a show. Epic performance from the purple master of the electric six string. Pure rock n roll. I think there was some confusion for the reviewer and some of the fringe fans regarding the set list. There were a few expecting to sing along to raspberry beret and other classics. I would suggest it had more to do with the promotion of the show. For instance the marque in front of the vogue said Prince, not Prince and Third Eye Blind as I believe it should’ve.
Either way the girls were on point and Prince was clutch in his performance. Only dig on the show was that he left with us excited for more. Hard to blame him for cutting it at the 2 hour mark considering he had already for a couple hours during the early show. I highly recommend this experience, if you are a true prince fan this is for you, and if you only know Prince for his pop hits, this might not be for you.
