The “Flip” Flops As Video Camera Ceases Production

Flip. By Cisco

We told anyone we knew that was thinking of buying the Flip video camera, that just because it was endorsed by celebrities, it was not this celebrity blogger's video camera of choice.  I always try to stay one step ahead when it comes to technology and was right this time, again.

Flip cameras, which is owned by Cisco just announced that the Flip camera will be ceasing production immediatly and that 550 people would be out of jobs.

Who wanted a digital camera that had it's own built-in hard drive but had to upload to a computer before recording other footage if the camera was full, when you had other camera's to choose from that can have memory cards used instead?

I feel bad for the people who lost their jobs but I also feel bad for the consumers who were bamboozled about this product when there was better video cameras which shot in HD available.

The only flip flops I care about are the one's I wear to the beach babies.-Dr.FB
