Over? Keane Confirming Breaking Up After “Best Of” Album Release

Keane has confirmed they are breaking up after the "Best Of" album comes out next month. They plan on working on their own projects in the future.

The announcement was made to the Sun by Tom Chaplin and Tim Rice-Oxley. Tom will be releasing his own solo album while Tim will produce other artists.

The band has been together with different line-up's for 16 years and broke up for a short time in 2006. They have released 4 album's.

"The Best Of Keane" will be released on November 11 and features 20 tracks including 2 new tracks. The band is currently playing shows to promote the set.-DocFB

Cherrytree Records is dropping a digital release of their artists that recorded at the Cherrytree House Sessions and one of the songs featured is "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement.
