Daniel Radciffe, Rupert Grint and a majority of the Harry Potter cast attended a Harry Potter Halloween party in London over the weekend.  You remember, the things kids were obsessing about before Twilight?

It seems at the start Daniel Radcliffe was not too keen with paps who were hanging outside as he tried to get it in. The rest of the cast, however, seemed more keen with having their photo taken and hamming it up.

Maybe Daniel had more on his mind as his costume appeared to be a shirt with a red broken heart on it. Pure speculation but hope he is OK.

Regardless, enjoy the pics as it does seem like the cast was in for a night of fun.-Dr.FB

Harry Potter pulled down Bruno’s pants and gave him a spanking at the box office. Bringing in just under $80 million it’s opening weekend and $160 million in it’s first 5 days.

How did Bruno do?  Just a little over $8 million to place at number 4 and a huge drop off from opening weekend, over a 70 percent drop.  Potter has brought in $237 million overseas so far.

The movie has been very well reviewed and has already made 20 million than the last Potter movie over it’s last opening weekend.

Anyone see it?  Thoughts?

The New York Premiere was a lot kinder to the cast of “Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince” then the London Premiere has.

It was a lot more kinder for Emma Watson.  At the London Premiere, while trying to adjust herself, she gave the world an up-skirt shot.  Thankfully, she was wearing some knickers.  She didn’t have to worry about such an incident in New York.

I must say again how Emma Watson is turning into a woman and a very beautiful one as well.  Along with her co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe & Rupert Grint, will arrive in theatres next week for the Harry Potter movie.  If Transformers 2 made over $300 million so far, Potter is sure to crush that.-Dr.FB

It has been pouring on the cast of Harry Potter for a year now with “Twilight” trying to take away heat from the Potter franchise.  On Tuesday in London, the rain continued in the physical sense.

At the premiere in London, it came pouring down at the red carpet but the Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and the very lovely Emma Watson braved on to pose for pictures for the media. It doesn’t seem to me the new movie “Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince” is being talked about as much.  It will most likely do gangbusters when it finally gets released next week.

Hopefully, at the New york Premiere later this week, the sun will shine.-Dr.FB

The stars of “Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince” were at a press shoot Monday for the film which has the sad fact of having it’s London Premiere the same day as the Memorial Service for Michael Jackson.

Rupert Grint  wore his Friday night 1 A.M. best and Daniel Radcliffe wore an outfit George Michael would have been proud of in the early 90’s.  Emma Watson however…..  wow.  WTF?  She is looking very pretty I must admit. 

Make no mistake about it, we will be covering the New York Premiere as well later this week, getting the coverage it obviously deserves.-Dr.FB

Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint had a battle with “Swine Flu” recently. He was missing from the set for a few days but is now back to filming.

His doctor said he is not contagious and could resume filming.

We are told he will also be attending the London Premiere of “Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince” on Tuesday.  See a premiere like this is going to get all kinds of media attention if nothing else is happening on Tuesday.  Hmmm.  Well, you know that we will be reporting on it Wednesday, that’s for sure.-Dr.FB

Harry Potter fansite Oclumencia.com.br once again has some of the first photos from filming that began early this morning in Wales. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson are on location filming the “Shell Cottage” scenes for the final Harry Potter installments Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2. Also on set were Helena Bonham Carter (who plays Bellatrix Lestrange) and Warwick Davis. Davis usually plays Charms professor Flitwick, but will also play the goblin Griphook in these scenes for Hallows.

In the photo above Grint on the right is almost unrecognizable, as he dons a wig and beard to play Ron Weasley in disguise for a daring break-in the trio will attempt at Gringotts Bank. 

Half-Blood Prince isn’t even out for another two months and I’m already getting excited for Deathly Hallows.

We were contacted by Rupert Grint fansite Ice Cream Man and informed that online petitions have been created to show support for the film Cherrybomb. In the current economic climate, potential distributors are shying away from smaller indie films, and fans are keen to show that there is an interest in seeing a film like Cherrybomb in their local theatres. 

We’ve seen and really enjoyed this feature from first-time directors Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D’Sa during its festival run and are happy to support the petition. The film also has a killer soundtrack including songs by various indie UK artists, which alone would almost be worth the while.

Minor spoiler: Those who have read the book recall that an idyllic summer wedding at the Weasley home (The Burrow) is violently interrupted by a raid of Death Eaters, and our three young heroes have to make a hasty escape to the streets of London. Deathly Hallows Part I is set to be released November 19 next year. Part II is set for July 15, 2011.
