Naomi Campbell will be in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar where she talks about why she would not call herself a supermodel.
She talks about being a veteran of the fashion industry and covers her thoughts on her diet and her past.
On her diet she says:
“For me, carbs are a treat now.” Campbell, 41, is vigilant about her beauty routine too: steams, facials—“everything I can to keep my skin elasticated.” She says plastic surgery is fine “for those who do it for themselves and not to please someone else,” but she isn’t fazed about getting older. “I don’t worry about a number, I’m fine with aging.”
On her past:
“Look, you have to make mistakes. That’s how you learn and that’s how the world works. I’ve made a few. What makes a person is the ability to look at themselves and deal with their own lives. How you deal [with your actions] is what defines you.”
And on being called a supermodel?
“...I would never call myself that. I don’t have any superhuman powers. I still love what I do. It’s a new challenge to see how people can change your look. I like words like transformation, reinvention, and chameleon. Because one word I don’t like is predictable.”
Hmm. Very interesting interview. I would say when talks about her past, she never brings up anger issues or anything. We all have it in us. Some just easier than others. Wish she would say she is getting help on that, but hopefully, there will be no more instances for us to hear about that. Right?-DocFB
Above is the new ad for Cadbury chocolate and it says "Move over Naomi, there is a new diva in town" and it is causing a stir as being racist because the Naomi in question is Naomi Campbell.
It is for the "daily milk bliss" candy bar from Cadbury and it has vanilla mousse on the inside. They describe it as brown on the outside, white on the inside. Hmm.
Naomi had this to say about the ad; "
“I am shocked. It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people. I do not find any humour in this. It is insulting and hurtful.”
The ad has since been removed from Cadbury. Do you think it was racist?-Dr.FB
Diagnosis: Cadbury Makes Chocolate After Easter?
Now this is a hot and beautiful couple. Adam Levine and Anne Vyalitsyna (Dare you to say that 3 times fast) were spotted in New York last night celebrating each other's birthdays, which are later this week and one day apart.
A good looking lead singer and a hot supermodel together? Never heard that one before. Maybe in a song by Maroon 5 or something.-Dr.FB
Selita Ebanks had on one of the hottest costumes of the year. Not going to lie, I had no idea who she was til I saw her in this outfit.
It seems Selita is a supermodel and will be in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on CBS next month. This photo was taken before Selita was going into Heidi Klum's Annual Halloween event.
If Selita keeps making statements like this, you may see more of her soon here.-Dr.FB
