The Emmy In Memoriam segment did it again last night. We are not talking about not mentioning the singers of "Oh Hallelujah" either.
The Emmy segment forgot to mention Jeff Conaway from "Taxi" tv fame and "Grease" from movie fame.
They do it every year. They were able to fit in the "Jackass" star that died from drinking and driving. We know that Jeff had a serious years long drug habit, but why was he not mentioned?-DocFB
Diagnosis: Oversight or On Purpose?
We have all seen in the past few years the addiction that Jeff Conaway tried to fight and earlier this month, he slipped into a coma. This morning, his body could not take anymore as he passed away.
Jeff has battled addiction to cocaine and prescription drugs. Dr. Drew, who tried to help Jeff with his show Celeb Rehab, says Jeff did not die from a drug overdose but that his body gave out due to long-term prescription drug abuse.
John Travolta, Jeff's "Grease" co-star, released this statement:
"Jeff was a wonderful and decent man and we will miss him. My heartfelt thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this very difficult time.”
Jeff also starred in the hit TV show Taxi. He was 60 years old.-Dr.FB
