OK Go is back with its first official video in two years - "The Writing's On The Wall."
"The Writing's On The Wall" is the first single from the band's new album, Hungry Ghosts, which will be released on October 14 by Paracadute via BMG. While the song, which was heard in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, concerns a relationship that may be at its end, the dizzying video, packed with optical illusions that blur the line between reality and imagination, affirms that OK Go is still very much in love with the video-making process. (Their passion for making videos and other cool stuff is what led the White House to ask the band to craft a clip announcing the date of its very first Make Faire, which takes place tomorrow, June 18).
Dave Chappelle is doing a handful of shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York with guest musicians Nas, The Roots, Erkha Badu, and more and was on Fallon to promote it. Dave also talked about being the cover of a PRINCE single and meeting Kanye West.
Props to LV who designed the cover for having her image out there for millions to see.
Dave was funny how he said Prince pulled a judo move by using Dave impersonating Prince as the cover. Like what was he going to do. Kind of like Prince's interview with Nile Rodgers in Essence. Ha!
Chappelle's story of meeting Kanye for the first time makes me wish his show was still around. Check out the full clip above.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Prince still makes the "Hot Things" swang!
Katy Perry has been giving back to schools and teachers. First with a contest that had her perform for them on her 29th birthday. This time, she is giving a million dollars to teacher's education. The pop singer went on Good Morning America to talk about the donation and how important education is.
Diagnosis: As much as we dig Katy, can she translate the tweet below?
Just saw a amazing face off between a hawk and a squirrel. Today is already the best. (both survived)

After appearing as a guest judge on auditions, Misty Copeland will now be a guest judge for live shows of "So You Think You Can Dance".
Misty Copeland overcame obstacles to rise to the top echelons of classical ballet and break barriers by becoming the first African-American soloist at the acclaimed American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in over 20 years. Today an inspiration to millions, Copeland will bring her 18 years of dance experience and her hard-won life lessons to the EMMY winning FOX show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE as a Guest Judge on multiple episodes.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE airs Wednesdays (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Copeland will join co-creator, executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe and Judge Mary Murphy to offer her personal guidance and feedback to the contestants as they compete for the biggest break of their lives. Copeland will join an array of celebrities with a diversified dance experience who will be featured as Guest Judges this season in various audition cities, including Christina Applegate, Billy Porter, Lil Buck, Adam Shankman, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Tara Lipinski, Jenna Elfman (Love her!), Fabrice Calmels, Wayne Brady, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Irina Dvorovenko.
Copeland’s against-all-odds success story and her message of inclusion have received widespread acclaim. She recently published her memoir at just 31 years old detailing her dramatic life story and sparking dialogue about the future of ballet. Copeland was hand selected by Prince to star in his “Crimson & Clover” video. She introduced mainstream audiences to the world of classical ballet by performing on-stage with Prince at his concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York, the Forum in Los Angeles and in France.
"I'm honored to join Nigel and Mary as a guest judge this season,” said Copeland. “I've been a fan of the show and am excited to be a part of something that inspires and encourages dancers to go after their dreams. For me to be a part of this show is a major breakthrough for classical ballet, and I'm grateful to Nigel, Mary, and the entire team for giving me the opportunity to represent the art form in this way."

In a move that was found out weeks ago and was a worst kept secret during that time, Gwen Stefani confirmed she will be a judge on the next season of "The Voice" and will appear on the singing contest show next week!
NBC was trying to hold off the news for 2 more weeks to announce for their Fall Line-Up but with "The Voice" having Gwen on the show next week, they announced it early. Well...earlier than the announcement leak from a few weeks ago.
No Doubt fans are conflicted about the news as it will delay a new album that has been getting worked on over a year and also that means no tour dates for the foreseeable future. Towards the season finale of next year though, "The Voice" could be a platform for No Doubt to release new music and even launch a tour on the heels of that. Time will tell and No Doubt fans will just have to be patient.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Doesn't really hurt to have Gwen on a high profile show like that. It is helping Adam Levine stay relevant and helped ressurect Christina Aguilara and Shakira of late.
Maya Rudolph is getting her own variety special on NBC and it will feature Raphael Saaddiq as the band leader and the first musical guest will be none other than Janelle Monae!
"The Maya Rudolph Show" will air May 19th at 10 P.M. and feature several of her former SNL cohorts like Fred Armisen, Chris Parnell, and Andy Samberg. The show will also feature Sean Hayes, Kristen Bell, and Craig Robinson.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Always good to see Janelle in the light. Even better when it is with Maya.
LiV Warfield will make her Late Show With David Letterman debut on April 4th, 2014!
This comes after LiV performed "Why Do You Lie" on Fallon and "Soul Lifted" on Arsenio last week.
LiV's new album is entitled "The Unexpected" and is available now on iTunes!
Diagnosis: Even Paul knows what's up!!!
