09 May Listen Now To New PRINCE “Baltimore”; #RALLY4PEACE Concert To Be Streamed On Tidal; Back On Social Media?
This week has been a space odyssey for PRINCE fans with the announcement of the #RALLY4PEACE concert in Baltimore, Tidal now streaming the first 60 minutes of the Sunday concert, the release of the new song “Baltimore” for all insomniacs and perhaps Prince’s return to social media via Twitter.
On the soundcloud link, how “Baltimore” came to be is described eloquently.
As for Tidal streaming the concert on their site they will also be matching donations for the “Rally4PEACE” concert all weekend long and during the first 60 minutes of the PRINCE & 3RDEYEGIRL concert.
In a press release, Jay Z had this to say about the event;
“I am honored to join Prince in his mission to inspire through the uniting power of music and be able to offer a platform where this moment can be shared globally. We invite all to experience the music and contribute in their own way to promote peace, tolerance and understanding,” \ “Our prayers go out to Freddie Gray’s family and every family affected by brutality and senseless violence.”
Also, it appears PRINCE & 3RDEYEGIRL are back on social media via the verified Twitter account PRINCE3EG.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Kinda haunting that the L.A. Riots were 25 years ago from what was going on in Baltimore last week and how “Baltimore” ends. We are all in this together. When will we all see this?

Talk about out to lunch. That said, the song is a nice mid-tempo anthem, nothing that will be remembers in 10 years, but still…but I don’t think that anthems mean anything anymore, so…

If “Sign ‘O’ The Times” would have been released during this moment, or this situation happened during the 80’s, & Prince released “Sign ‘O’ The Times” for this particular situation, I would be wearing it out by now, str8 up.

Love 3rd eye girl too, but I believe, like The NPG, they would be a stronger protege band.
They are definitely Paisley Park material, but honestly, IMO, no one but, but none, influences Prince’s sound, like THE REVOLUTION.
I believe because, they are not afraid to tell Prince the truth, “that sounds good, that’s a hit, but that right there, that sounds horrible!!”
And the competition of THE TIME challenged him, which made his product just that much stronger, it was in his favor. Prince was jammin his butt off when he had them around. It worked very strongly in his favor.
Though he wrote all the material, it still gave him a better imagination, with a much clearer vision.
Having folks around u that are afraid of u, what good does that do you?

1st Off, Thank God 4 U, Prince, 4 Never Failing 2 Speak Up About The Injustices Plaguing Our Country & People As A Whole.
Though More & More R Acknowledging These Injustices By Our “Men In Blue”, This Shouldn’t Only Be The Fight Of The Civilians. This Fight Should Also Start From Within Those Walls…Like The Wall Of Berlin, This So-Called “Blue Wall Of Silence” Needs 2 Be SMASHED & Blown 2 Pieces! This Has, In A Sense, Become Our Own “Wall Of Berlin”.
There R Good Men & Women In Blue Who Take Their Badges Seriously But, Unfortunately 4 THEM, There R Those Within That Seek & Tend 2 Abuse That Power. & The “True Blues” Watch But Most Fail 2 Intervene, Of Course, Due 2 The BACKLASH. But, I Pray With All Of The Recent Uprisings & Uproars, This Will Get The Ball Rolling. That This Division & Injustice Within Those Walls Need 2 STOP.

This Was No Surprise Of Course, Only Confirmation. God Bless Him.

Knowing A Civilian Was Harassed Unnecessarily Due 2 PROFILING When This Person Has A LEGIT Lifestyle & NO Police Records So, SURPRISINGLY Acquired This Car Or Was Allowed In This Neighborhood Because Of Their ACHIEVEMENTS & Most Importantly, The FREEDOM 2 Go Wherever The HECK They Pleased?
& Of Course, Knowing A Civilian Was Unarmed & KILLED SIMPLY Because Of Their LIFESTYLE Or THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN.
& I’m not Just Speaking 4 The Black Civilians/Victims, I’m speaking 4 ALL Of These Victims Because, There R People Of ALL Races Who Have Endured Injustices By The “Tainted Blue”. But, 2 Be Fair & The FACT Still Remains That A Lot Of These WERE/R Based On The COLOR Of Skin.
Of Course, There Is The Saying, #AllLivesMatter. But, In Saying, #BlackLivesMatter Does NOT Stand 4 ONLY, It Stands 4 ALSO. Because, The Fact Likewise STILL Remains That A LOT Of These Injustices R Simply, If They’re BLACK…REACT.
I’m Sorry 4 The Rant But, This Hurts. Mother’s Having 2 Hold Their Sons Tighter Because Of The Skin They’re In Or Lifestyle That Surrounds Them, & From The 1’s Who Vowed 2 Protect & Serve? People R LOST & SCARED & ANGRY & CONFUSED. But, There R OTHER Outlets & Ways 2 Be Heard & Rioting Is NOT the Way, The Destruction Of Their Own Neighborhoods That Were Built From Their Own Blood, Sweat & Tears & Most Importantly, KILLING Is NOT.

The sound of Prince’s song Baltimore isn’t what I expected, and that’s what I love about Prince. An angry sound is probably not what this community needs right now. He’s showing love & light. Perfect.
