The Emmys this were one of the lowest rated Emmy broadcasts of all time. The show pulled in 12.2 million people, even lower than the one on 1990 which had 12.3 million viewers.
The Dallas Cowboy-Green Bay Packer game on NBC was said to take away a huge chunk of the audience.
