You know, I think this is one of the smartest things Prince has been doing.
Give the info to a popular blog entertainment site, that way, it gets picked up by more outlets. If this goes straight to his site, it will stay there and go no further. Prince has wised to this. It still hits the fan pages but it also hits much more.
All the entertainment sites talk about him a lot more in the past year or so and I would not be surprised if this site has anything to do with it.
All the celebs are doing it and it is smart. When it comes to his own site, unless they don’t give you a crack at tickets, there is nothing to complain about with this.

Why not announce he is playing the festival, without mention of money? Prince likes to Brag about money cause thats what he cares about and this press release shows his real character. Dont be fooled, he is a great musician and gets worshipped by fans but he should know by now that there is much more to life than music and almighty dollar.

I love the dr.’S site, but I agree with it being rediculous that we paid $77 for lotusflower, no updates, shirts not in ALL sizes, seriously, who wears only an xl these days? And all we’ve gotten is the album that we also have purchased from Target! Have fun at the festival, Prince, and then let’s get sum updates on ur site!
