Film buffs and Godfather fans will be sad this morning as it is being reported Al Martino aka Johnny Fontane  from “The Godfather” passed away yesterday in Philadelphia.

He was born Alfred Cini and had the first ever UK number 1 song in 1952 with “Here In My Heart” and had a 50 year career of music.

He was 82 years old.-Dr.FB
